Air-Conditioning

Ensuring Comfort while you Drive

The Air-conditioning system in a car helps cool the air inside the cabin (a.k.a. the passenger compartment) by moving heat from inside the cabin to the outside environment of the car.

The Air-conditioning system achieves this through the use of Refrigerants, which are chemical substances that have a low boiling point. By manipulating its pressure, the refrigerant can absorb heat inside the passenger compartment and release the heat outside the car.

Refrigerants are toxic, and are harmful to life and the environment. That’s why only individuals who carry a Refrigerant Handling License are authorised to carry out work on refrigerants.

During operation, the Air-conditioning system also helps lower humidity to a comfortable level by removing moisture from the air inside the cabin.

The Air-conditioning system also works to circulate air, as well as filter out particles from the air inside the cabin.

If your Car’s Air-conditioning system isn’t performing any of its functions well, such as:

  • Not cooling the cabin well enough
  • Weak or no airflow from the vents
  • Blowing in smelly air

Consider getting it checked with us. As Licensed Refrigerant Handlers, we can help investigate and diagnose the issues, and offer a solution to restore your Air-Conditioning system back to the way it was.
